My Friend got in a lobby and needs help please?

My Friend was playing Mw2 and he got in a lobby with a person who soposeovly could give 10th and the spinning 10th emblem When my friend joined his lobby their was a checker board screen the hacker told him to back out and go to split screen he did then the hacker told him to turn on use online unlocks then he started the match his screen turned black and everytime he goes on mw2 he can't see anything. His Xbox is not messed up neither is the CD he downloaded it to the hard-drive so it can't be that. He called Microsoft they said then can't help the hacker did some sort of modification. So please if you know how to resolve this problem answer it. If you need his gamertag its KmS x RaGe and his other one is KmS x Banned his rage account is the one that got the black screen
