I'm 16 why can't I get a job?

What's in it for me? That's what every single employer is thinking about. This goes against what we've been taught in school but it is not always about your accomplishments in what you've done (which is impressive actually). When your contacting a company for job yes your age is a little bit of a factor they like 18 and older . but I think if you talk more about how you can help them "get more, or make more, or do more. Show them the benefits they can get if they hire you. You do have marketable skills. Think about it from their perspective of yourself in their shoes they wanna hire somebody that is gonna help them do something or make more money. You to show them how you can do that, and I bet you'll land a job. I'm a marketing consultant these are methods I use on web sites I see no reason for it to work in selling yourself for a job
