What car to get for a beginner?

I don't really know if this helps,but when i passed my test i got a second hand vauxhall corsa 1.2 only had done 4,000 plus easy to run didn't have to fill it up much.Insurance was cheap i find them simple easy cars not to big not to small just right :) I always go for something that will really be cheap in the future something that wont cost to much to repair or get serviced.Also are you wanting a Petrol or Diesel? as i would say Petrol much cheaper of course! : ) you should look up on Ebay most newer second hand cars go cheap on there as i've been looking for a new car myelf on there :)
