Which country has one time zone and 9.6 million sq kms land mass?

The answer is the People's Republic of China. After the Chinese Civil War, in 1949, a unified time zone — GMT+8 — was established by the People's Republic of China for all its territories, called Beijing Time (sometimes known as Chinese Standard Time). China has a land area of 9,596,961 square kilometers. For those individuals saying India I would remind them that India has an area of 3,287,263 square kilometers which is far to small to be the correct answer.
