Conjunctivitis transferred to second eye after the first one was cured. Will it take another one week now?

I have been suffering from Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye) in my Right Eye since one week. As soon as this was cured, the infection is transferred to the Left eye. The redness is not as severe as it was in Right eye earlier. I need to know if this one will also last for another one week as i have to go for a trip today where i will be driving more than 400 kms a day for 3 days.
